Flat betting is a sizing rule, not a picking system. You can flat-bet parlays (we don’t recommend it) or flat-bet straight moneylines (what we do). The rule only answers: how much am I risking on this ticket?

Why people use flat betting
- Readable records. If every play is 1u, +12u means something. Mixed sizes hide whether the picks or the sizing “won.”
- Survives cold streaks. Sizing up after wins (or “locks”) is how bankrolls die. Flat stakes keep a losing week painful but survivable. More on swings: variance in MLB betting.
- Less ego. You are not proving confidence with bet size. You are testing whether the side has edge.
