Odds to implied probability (quick)
American odds convert to a win chance the book is pricing in (before you think about vig across both sides):
- Favorite (−150): implied ≈ `150 / (150 + 100)` = 60%
- Dog (+150): implied ≈ `100 / (150 + 100)` = 40%
Your job is not "do I like this team." It is: does my win chance beat that implied number by enough to cover juice and still leave edge?

Bo1 vs Bo3 still one moneyline
Format changes variance. It does not change the ticket type. Bo1 is noisier. Bo3 / Bo5 give the better team more room. We still grade who won the series at the posted match moneyline.
